hiyaz, i've got a problem with windows media player. saying: wmplayer.exe is not a valid win32 application. It isn't opening at all.
Help needed 'cos i'm having to play music through nero, which isn't very good for actually playing the music, until i get some blank CD's! =)

have you tried to reinstall WMP to see if that will fix your problem?

Win Media players 6.4 and 7.x are both available for download from MS Downloads, have a look.

If you have enough space on your CPU I also suggest that you download another player other than windows media, such as realplayer in the event one goes bad you have a backup. I use Liquid player and RM Jukebox, just in case Windows media acts up and I don't have time to mess with it.This way you won't miss out having your music.......
