My computer tells me I can't delete the file wmiexe.exe. It says it's being used by my computer. It's infected with a virus and I want to get rid of it.

Here's one way to try. Go to start/run and type msconfig and click OK. Open the startup tab and look for it. If you find it, deselect it, reboot and you should be able to delete it.

Hi Mike (great name, huh?)...
If you are using 95,98 or ME - get rid of it. You don't need it.If you are using NT, I'd have to know more.
Go to DOS (true DOS)and type the path to the file then simply delete wmiexe.exe.
If you need more detailed instructions, ask and I'll email them to you.
