For reasons unknown to me I began receiving the subject error message about three months ago. Specifically it says "WJView Error: Could not execute Main. The system could not find the file specified."
I am not aware of any other malfunctions in my operating system. The PC boots up fine with the exception of the error message which only appears at startup.
I came to this site because a search engine indicated that someone else was having the same problem, but upon reviewing the message history, it is not clear to me how to eliminate the problem or what caused it to occur.
Any help would surely be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sock

WJView is a microsoft utility that allows a Java application normally executable in windows to run in the DOS shell (DOS command window).

what did you load prior to this error? It could have come with another software installation.

Thanks for answering.
Prior to this receiving this error I downloaded a program called LimeWire. After I uninstalled the program, I began to notice the subject error message at startup.
Before that, I had never heard of WJView.
Do you know how to correct this?

I haden't heard of it either.
LimeWire is a Peer to Peer file sharing application and it appears to have Java issues. I'd ask them.
bugs@LimeWire.com
maybe there is a patch for this.
