Trident are the Manufacturer of the TGUI9682, the software/drivers are supplied by the Company who makes the Card.

Does the card have a FFC ID number ?

Does the Card also have a Philips Chipset ?

I think the tv viewing software is by Kasan and may be generic for several of those boards. But all the kasan links were dead and I couldn't find any download sites for tuner software for specific cards. You might check this site:

http://manian.dreamwiz.com/software...

It's Korean I think and google translation doesn't help much but if you click on the red down arrow it'll download a KasanTV.rar file.

You may find other sites if you google something like kasan tuner software.

Sure - fortune favours the bold (or at least, the motivated)

Star Media Center works for me, on my generic card - - it's been freeware, but from the schmancy new look of their homepage, I suspect a paid version is imminent (or possibly even current)

There are others...

I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter.
