Comment:

When my computer starts windows 98,

it pops up and reads cannot find the file "winoscfg.exe" or one of it's components

then another window pops up reading could not load or run "winoscfg.exe" specified in the "win.ini" file.

anyway that I can stop my computer from doing this during every startup?

Click on Start/Run and type sysedit. In the window for win.ini look for the file name winoscfg.exe and remove it (check box). It will probably be load=winoscfg.exe or run=winoscfg. You should get some help to permanently remove it, as I believe I indicated in your previous post that is a worm virus.
