Hey there,
I just managed to set up a Win98 network, 3 pc's, using a hub. Now I tried to install WinGate (serverversion on server, clientversion on client), but it doesn't quite work out.. I dedicated IP's to the PC's manually in the networkoptions (win), I guess that's ok, because otherwise my network wouldn't be working.. The server seems fine, but the client PC(s) dont seem to launch the WGclient..

Question? You have a hub and you are running Wingate -- for what function?
With a hub you could have mutiple computers linked to one IP. Plus all the computers could be on one network, linked to each other. Plus the hub would foward all server requests to the needed computer.
