hope someone can help. ESS Solo is the sound card intigrated into the mother board. I have sound but can only control it at the external speaker. When I go to control panel/multimedia,under the audio tab it lists the sound card. My problem is when i click the box to show volume control on the taskbar, a message box pops up saying that the volume control is not installed and to go to add/remove programs to install it. I can't find the volume control anywhere. I looked on the win98 install disk and c drive. I even tried reinstalling win98se. still no volume control. can someone please help me Bill
