Windows updates!

When trying to download windows updates the site lets me select the updates and accept the agreement, then nothing. It doesn't download the updates it will not allow me to Install no dialog box pops up showing status. Any idead why it may be doing this. I have tried to adjust internet options thinking maybe it was a security thing, but no.

Probably a busy server; with all this active update stuff I think MS buries itself. I often find MS Updates hanging for long periods of time. When they fail, they can take a forever or two to recover.
If you continue to expereince such problems, you might consider downloading your latest browser directly from MS... for example, if you run IE 5.5 SP2, download that straight from MS and bypass the update. Install it manually and then try to do some updating.

be sure you have your firewall diabled and cookies enabled. popup stoppers should also be turned off.
