G'day guys, I've been trying for months to get there as well but only a blank page with 'done' on the status bar. I use IE5.0 and the Windows Update link is exactly what you put there Bryan but I still get zilch.
Might try the other PC later and see what gives.
Bill probably hates me for all the nasty things I said about ME

I understand that is in the license for XP that you can not trash or flame MS or you are in violation of the terms. LOL
Bryan

If you click TOOLS - WINDOWS UPDATE, it'll go to:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/?IE
The update link does not work from there.
If you correct the URL address and type in:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/default.htm
the update link will work and you'll be able to check for updates.

G'day Frank, no go, it used to work once upon a time but the page is blank now, it's whiter than my legs. I tried from my other PC which had a recent format and install of IE5.0 and still zilch.
I pasted the link you and Bryco typed and the page is there but absolutely nothing on it.
The link from the Tools is:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/default.htm?page=productupdates
and even shorten it to just
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
gives no joy either but as it's not life and death I don't htink I will slash my wrists over it.
see ya
