Windows protection error

Hi guys i had a problem and i hope there will some ppls who can solve me this problem.

Well, when i was using the net, suddenly my system wents black and restarted it's own. And after it's boot up back it's when back restart again and finnaly i got a window protection error, and aks me to restart the system.

But when ever i restart it i got the same error msg. with one file call SHELL corrupt nor problems. Can anyone give me any suggestion how to ride from it?

I'm using AMD 500Mhz with 163Mb RAM (64-64-32)with Voodoo3 card.

Vmm32.vxd is bad or misconfigured. Use the WIN cd and run setup and point to c:\windows (your win directory.) Nothing will be erased or deleted, it will just rebuild the vmm32.vxd file. You will not be able to boot to windows no matter what you do until you rebuild the bad boy. More info on IOS error and vmm32.vxd at www.techtony.com
