Comment:

Every time I turn on this machine I get the following error message:

"Windows Protection Error... You must restart your computer".

Then the machine goes to " It is now safe to turn off your computer".

I have already checked for solution on Microsoft support site...but nothing.

Sometimes I get the windows menu. It will go to Safe Mode with no problem, but it is unable to start in Normal Mode.

Any help will be well appreciated!
Thanks

Robert

Hi Robert

If you can start in safe mode, but not normal mode, then I'd say you have a hardware problem.

You could try physically removing or unplugging all your devices, including floppy drive and cdrom...just try booting up with hard drive, RAM and video card.
If you boot normally, then add things back one by one to determine the culprit.

Good luck
Krystyna
