Installed win 98se on this old toshiba satellite 110cs laptop,
I have one problem left to deal with,
Windows Networking X
Unable to load the dynamic link library: msnp32.dll
The System cannot find the file specified
Some or all of the following feature is not available
(Microsoft Network)
This file msnp32.dll is currently in C:\Windows\System 80KB Application Extension
These other files are in C:\windows\system
msnp32.dll
vredir.vxd
vnetsup.vxd
dfs.vxd
drs.vxdI copied win 98 files to the hard drive windows\options
I'm just trying to hookup to the internet now.
Any suggestion.

you need to post how you are networking, with what other computer, the type of isp connection, [broadband/dialup] what type if cards/wireless or what??
look here
www.practicallynetworked.com

Followed up on the DOS board, but the short answer may be:
"If the behavior continues after extracting the file, remove and reinstall the Client for Microsoft Networks using the Network tool in Control Panel."
Why don't they make computers that will do what we think we want them to do?

I'm using Qwest DSL highspeed, 256 modem ?? and connecting through a ethernet card in the slot on the side of the laptop.
I did get connected to the internet using a different ethernet network card, But I still have the error.
Windows Networking X
Unable to load the dynamic link library: msnp32.dll
The System cannot find the file specified
I'll let you know how this error above turns out.
Thanks For The Help.
