i want to upgrade my media player to the newestt avbl from MS but it says its 9.9mb file and i only have 5.50mb left on my Laptop HD will i be able to upgrade and still have any room on my HD for secuirty updates at a later time thanks for looking

If you only have 5.5 mb available, then you will not be able to install a 9.9 mb install. You will need to clean up your hard drive by deleting things that you do not need. Make sure to back them up before you do. Also, 5.5 mb is very low on drive space, even if you don't install media player you will still need more space for the security updates soon!

No kidding .When Mplayer unpacks during the install it sends another 9 megs to a temp file, and when using it for online vids youd be storing several megs of video or whatever.
at any rate you simply couldnt even install it without 18 or so megs!
