Windows Media Player settings

I need help with the setting in my WMP. I find that when I bring down the File bar I see previously opened files, which I find annoying. How can I disable this feature. i have gone through the options menu several times, and I cannot find out how to get rid of that. It's a waste of space on that bar.

Go to tools->options then to the privacy tab. Uncheck the checkbox at the buttom where it says history.
