Windows media player don't find AVI code

I've some AVI files but every time I try to read them, WMP request for a missing codec and don't find it, yet it should work (I've installed the last version 7.1). where to find codec for WMP? or just fix it..

You have to remember regardless of what player you are using, whether the Windows Media player or Real Media Player that they do not have all the codecs needed to view certain files, streams. See Microsoft article Q142731 install and removal of codecs, or go to WWW.icanstream.tv/codecCentral.index
