Windows Explorer - no folder view

In windows explorer (win 98), am unable to get folder views in the leftside starting from mycomputer.
In view -> Explorer bar -> folders has been clicked. But still nothing is happening in the left side of my windows explorer.

suriya, Check out the thread at the link below especially Mosaic1's instructions and follow them carefully.

Windows Explorer Left Pane is Blank

There's also some info at the Micosoft link below.

"All Folders" pane missing or Windows Explorer is blank
