I set up a dual boot with Windows 98SE and Windows XP Home Edition. I can't get the updates for Windows 98SE. I know they are no longer available after July 11, 2006 but I thought they were still available now. Golfer24

They are at the Windows Update Catalog site if you care to download them and save them to a CD or something like that. Minumum 800x600 resolution required at that site, click on Find Windows Updates in the left panel.
They will be available after July 11, there just won't be any new ones released for 98 after that date. What happens to the WinUP site for 98 remains an unanswered question but since this one still exists for 95, I suspect this similar looking one for 98 will be used in a similar manner after July 11. The 95 site does have some dead links at this time.
If you are using ie 4 or ie 5.00.2614.3500 fresh from a clean 98 installation, the regular WinUP site won't work for you until you upgrade your ie version to something a bit higher. IE 5.50 SP2 works as well as IE 6.0 SP1 at WinUP site.

An even better "unofficial" wrapup of the updates:

And there's always Axcel216's excellent site:

Lee, Thank you for your help. I downloaded IE 5.5 SP2 and then went to Windows Updates. One of the critical updates is IE 6.0 which I'm downloading now. Thanks for you help, Golfer24
