If you've d/loaded anything from the internet, I'd first update virus defs and run a complete virus scan. Not likely the culprit, but the easiest to do.

1. When it freezes, and you hit alt-ctl-del - If it does anything, is there a prog "not responding?" If so, remove it & re-install.

2. Try replacing the RAM. Or even putting it in a different slot. Might be damaged, or maybe OK but just not be playing nice in your system. Random crashes are often a symptom of a ram problem

3. Try re-loading windows over itself.

Good luck!

Reinstalled windows still doing it.
Switched Ram made no difference.
ctrl-alt-del gets no response.
Have noticed the CPU runs at about 58C.

Any other ideas?

Tim
