I have computer that was used at an Elementary school and I want help remove it’s old domain names and networking settings. The problem is that I don’t know the administrative password. I want to make this computer so you don’t have to login to a network. I want to make the computer “mine”.
(FYI) I have a Windows Vista computer that I will be using to communicate with you guys.

Issia is a pimp.

In order to remove all of the gambling, spyware, and porn usually found on school computers, I would reformat the hard drive and install Windows 98 from scratch.

Good Luck,

Windows 98 doesn't have Administrator passwords. I agree with Bob. Reinstall the OS.

I agree with the majority above; Format and install 98 fresh on a clean drive.

Typically that means your cmos battery is dead. It likely is going to be difficult to replace in a laptop and you may need to consult a manual for your specific model.
