I just reinstalled windows 98 via the options cabs but he ask me for the license serial number, could anyone tell me how I could find the serial number (Registry or other ) ? I have not the certificate book with me so..., any solution would be welcome.

unless you can get into safe-mode, then get to system properties where you can see the registration number, I think you're out of luck. I tried DOS but no luck there. Might try a friend with a number & see if that works. Good luck

Reply: (edit)There is an easyer way to check the serial number of your windows.. Go into the registry and seach for serial.. it might take some time to get to actual serial that you are looking for but it is there..
