Comment:

I have windows 98SE installed on my PC but I have no bios bootable CD ROM drive so I would need a boot floppy if I wanted to reinstall the OS, can someone point me in the right direction for making up a WIN98 SE boot floppy as I don’t know what files should be on it. (I have a Windows 98 (first version) boot floppy can I use some of the files on this disc?)

Thanks

DaveB

Windows will do it for you - go to 'control panel' 'add/remove programs' and choose 'startup disk'

That'd be the simplest way - never a good idea to mix versions.
