Hi everyone!!
My problem is when I start my computer I see the manufacturer logo then it goes straight to Windows 98 logo screen and it freezes. I try to start it from safe mode I dont even get that screen so I can do it..
I dont even have the boot disk..can someone give some help I'll appreciated it..

Hello Luismax,
If you don't have the full kit of windows 98, do you have at least the cdrom of this OS ? because you can rebuilt a floppy boot disk easily when you open this CD.
Follow the steps directed by the CDrom program....

Hi there,

It seem as though you are are stuct at the bootscan period.Are you running McAfee 6.0? If so you need to disable the bootscan reference in autoexc.bat.Goto "Start" "Run" type in sysedit, ok, and at the the first screen in autoexec.bat look for a lineabout this "Bootscan", Place rem before each line and save the change in "File" Save.Or you could change the bootscan to scanpm.exe
