I have a Spacewalker HOT-591P motherboard with an amd k6 300mhz. Occasionally when I scroll in Money 98 or IE4.0 the system locks up. CTRL ALT DEL doesn't work either when it freezes up.

Howdy, Well have you checked to make sure the CPU fan is spinning? I am not a fan of Spacewalker motherboards, not saying that is the problem but they aren't the best in the world. I would double check your cpu settings and make sure that your voltage and clock rates are correct and if you have a voltmeter it wouldn't hurt to make sure you are getting +12 -12 and +5 and -5 from the power supply, And if you do this and get 11.8 or something like that its fine. Other than that need more details from ya to when it started to happen.

Laters,

Kevin The Tech Dude.

Whenever I play 3D Demos on my computer - a DELL xpR400/128/10g/TBMa3DPCI - everything hangs(freezes)up. C+A+D does not work. Lately it gives me a blue screen fatal error.I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled, but noluck - before it freezes- it says Windows need this file 'VCTL.DLL ver 1.40'to run Audiomix.exe, then it prints a lot of gibberish on the monitor but the kb is locked. Any ideas? Thank you

This may be completely off base, but I experience win95/98 lockups on my LAN. We are using 10/100 cards and the network is not particulary busy. I understand that if win95/98 loses the network connection the system locks up. Anyone else know about this and what I can do?
