windows 98 freezes on startup, display driver problem

Specs: windows 98
i am using dual os, windows 98 and XP and i recenly had a problem with display driver on windows 98 (wrong install) and it will freeze on startup after windoes 98 logo displaying the video card 'Nvidia Gforce Mx400....64RAM'. how can i get past this problem and log in and reinstal the display driver. need to mention that i can't enter safe mode with Ctrl or F8. thank you!

If safe mode is not possible you'll have to re-install windows 98.

If you are using a USB keyboard you may need to temporarily use a PS/2 keyboard in order to access the BIOS to enable legacy USB support.

You didn't post any system specs so the above is just a guess.

Try different combinations. You will probably need reinstall Windows 98.
