You may have a hard time finding 98 drivers for flash drives, especially newer ones. And likely if you do, the drivers will want 98 SE.

Consider temporarily attaching the 98 drive as a second drive in the windows 7 machine.

Now that's what I call a sticky situation

Or simply connect the two systems via a cat-5 cross-over cable and set up a simple 1-2 (peer to peer) network...

Or copy files to CDRW or DVDRW and then port them over to windows-7 that way?

Actually, there's a generic driver for Windows 98. Almost all USB Mass Storage devices should work with it.
