While using MSIE 6.0 in Windows 98, I'll get a "windows an exception 0E has occurred at 0028:900012B9 in VxD---. This was called from 0028:C182F4CC in VxD CDVSD(03) + 00001FDC" This also happens occasionally when I open My Computer folder. I've searched the web and various forums but can't find this particular error message. Help...

Okay
VxD will relate to a Hardware/driver problem of which have been detailed all too often in this forum, the clue to your specific problem being CDVSD of which there are so many but usually it's a clue to it being your DVD/CD-ROM drive.
There is an article - Q197004 on the MS knowledge database (http://support.microsoft.com) Though it dosen't cover exactly your problem.

The obvious first - ensure you don't have a disk in the cd-rom drive, if Not the cause..
Then try booting your PC WITH a disk in the drive, if it boots without the error message
then it is a problem known to MS but you will have to refer to the website of either the CD/DVD rom drive manfacturer or your PC manufacturer, apparently the fix is different depending on the drive.
