I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought a scanner of Plustek. This is an Optic Pro 12000P scanner. When I wanted to install this on Windows 98 I got a registration error. It seems that I got the wrong drivers for the scanner. It works on Windows 95.
Can somebody help me or give me the required driver(s)?

(in text mode), and text overlaps itself in

I tried to install my plustek scanner(OpticPro 9636p+) but it keeps coeing up with an error. It says... An error occured during the move data process: -106
Component: Picture Publisher\Picture Publisher 7.0
File Group: Picute Publisher 7 Program Files
File: pp70.hlp

I'm looking for anybody that can help.Our nephew screwed up our computer somehow and now our scanner doesn't work.It's a 12000P.It scans and communicates,but no picture will come up on the screen.We don't get any errors so the scanner thinks there's an image there---PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

After trying to install the Optic Pro U12 with the accompaning CD I get a message -"X Can not establish connection with the Plustek USB Scanner, please run the appropriate utility or configuration program". According to the Northgate Computer Co. there is nothing wrong with the computer. This must be a faulty scanner. What address do I use to return this unit?

When I install my Plustek scanner (OpticPro 9630P) on Windows 98 and try to run it, it locks up tighter than a.... I am forced to reboot and scandisk cleanup, you know the routine. Is there a driver for this animal or could it be IRQ problem?

I have a problem with my scanner. I tried to scann something the other day and it wouldn't scann. it said that the port was not found. so I took all of my scanner softwear off of my computer. So all I had to do was reinstall it but when I tried the Computer said that it can't find the software. I don't know if the cd is bad or what. I have windows 98. Please help.

Desperate for windows 95 drivers for a Plustek PC600NS sheet feed scanner. Will greatly appreciate any and all help from the outside world since Plustek can not help. his is the same as Computer City CS-6000 Professional Desktop Scanner, and, Computer City is out of business.

Hello: I have a Plustek 4800P scanner with Image-In software. The scanner worked fine for 2+ years. Recently, I upgraded to Win95 (from Windows 3.X) and went to re-install this software, but approx. 10 tries later, I keep getting a consistent error message (No. 82): 'scanner not found.'
I went to Plustek's web-site and downloaded a Win95 driver software, but the computer keeps giving me the same error message. Meanwhile, I phoned the Plustek technical support line, 3 times, and left three messages, but nobody returned my phone calls! Finally, a technician did return my call and after conducting various tests over phone, he concluded that I should go to the Microsoft website and download a driver for
Image-In, as the company no longer carried such software! After doing a search on the Bill Gates web-site, no software for plustek or image-in could be found. Since the manager of Plustek's tech. support admits he cannot solve my problem, can anyone read this offer any solutions ? Thanks.Rus

most of the time when i scan and save or copy it does not compleatly scan and it comes out black i am running 98 and a 9630P

I'm having problems with my Plustek scanner OpticPro 4831P. It started giving me a message that "Program was unable to find your scanner. Please ensure...". I haven't changed anything on the computer previous to this, so I'm dumbfounded by what might have caused this. I feel I exhausted all avenues but I can't get the scanner to work anymore. Is there somebody who could give me a clue as to what is causing this and how I can fix it?

Hey, ok..heres the deal. My boyfriend gave me his scanner since he doesnt use it anymore. It's a plustek OpticPro 4831p. But heres the catch. I just bought a new computer its a dell. with windows 98. My boyrfiend lost the disk to enstall this scanner. it should have taken but it didnt. It lights up but we cant seem to get it to work. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. I'll check the message board all the time. I have an OpticPro P12 scanner. I have never used it. I took it out of my computor and tried to put it back in and it says I am missing dll's. Whatever that is. I make my own photos. Or I did last year. And then my computor crashed and I have a new one. And a new scanner and new printer. I really would like to get this working or have you replace this one. What do I do? In bad need of help.

I broke my cd disk for your OP9630 Plustek Scanner... I went to future shop to ask them if I could borrow or buy one and they said to get the drivers off your site. I had to reinstall windows again that is why I need to reload. attac it to my mail box....thank you

I have windows ME and my plustek 9636T does not respond at all, also the printer will not work through the printer port. I checked the cables and it is not the cables. Is there a driver for windows ME?

After trying to figure this plustek out ever since I got it I have finally reached a decision. I am unplugging this sucker and heaving it into the trash can and never again will I purchase a Plustek or a flatbed anything! You can turn up your nose but I am going to get myself an all in one scanner/fax/printer and to hell with flatbed anythings! This is the sorriest piece of crap I ever had. All the instructions are written in pure techie and computer gobbledy gook. I don't care for what ever the hell OCR is or Twain, I just want to point click and print! All of theses techies write the instructions for themselves well I have a suggestion on where the techies can stick those techie instructions! Stick them up your software!!

I just upgraded my computer and now have Windows98. My OpticPro 4830P worked fine on the previous Windows95 system. Now, when I try to install it, everything seems ok until I try the first scan. then my computer freezes to where I have to pull the plug to reboot. Now what??

Recently upgraded to Win 98. Since then, scanning any document results in images consisting of horizontal colored lines. I am using a Plustek OpticPro 4831P.

HELP! PLUSTEK needs a driver ungrade site for all its cuctomers.THIS is bad..I upgraded from WIN95 to WINDOWS ME recently..now my 4800P scanner freezes up real bad during scanning using Image-In.No image..nothing..total freeze and reboot! The scanner kept verifying itself as in SPP 378 port now, used to be EPP 378, as in the BIOS. I have tried to find a driver update..even WIN98..but so far unsuccesful! HELP!!!

HELP!I have tried in vain to find a scanner driver for my opticpro 4800P going to all the links recommended by forum readers etc etc. I have loaded win98 driver upgrade,win2000 upgrade, but nothing seemed to work. I was using win95 before..all was fine until i upgraded to WIN Me. NOW my scanner freezes completely up when doing pre-scan or scanning.. and i need to restart the puter totally...aargh! ALSO not recognising my EPP port anymore. This is driving me insane! Plustek's web sites are total FAKES..TOTALLY USELESS! You need authorisation to download the newer drivers??? COMEON! PLUSTEK..HOW STUPID IS THIS????

I agree with Josh above. I've found their website and support useless. You'd think they would support their customers. A working Win98 driver is not a lot to ask for!
I recently upgraded from Win95, boy that was a mistake. The scanner was fine till then. Plustek support emails bounce! COME ON PLUSTEK - GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER OR YOU"LL BE NO.1000 in THE SCANNER TOP 10

I have already download the drive but when I install the driver in windows 98 then it want to serial no. according to its instructions the serial no is print on the back side of scanner but I fail to enter the serial no. because it is not accepted.
Please give me serial no.
