I am currently learning some networking commands for windows 2000 pro, and found out about the net send (ip)(message) command... i was wondering if there is any way to do this in windows 98. Or is there a way to receive messages in windows 98 from a 2000 box? -squirrely

not really... but its a good idea. Actually this is the situation.. one day i go to one of my jobs where we use win2kpro machines all on a network and look at my computer and there it is! spam! but not in my email or icq\yahoo messenger spam or anything... it was send using the net send command... at another job, we are all using windows 98 machines on a network and im wondering if there is a way i can do the same net send type message to people who dont have icq or yahoo or even winpopup available.... any ideas?
