Specs: windows 98, 5150
So the cpqdfwag.exe kept coming up on my other computer. as suggested by many people i went to the msconfig set up and turned this option off so it wouldn't run at start up... NOW my computer won't turn on. It starts loading the icons and then shuts itself off. Please someone, anyone help...

Exhausted from trying to figure out what to do with this piece of crap computer...

Well it says that it does not have to be loaded during start up but if the problem persist on a compaq computer I would load in safe mode and re:enable it to load on start up. It could be a hardware conflict and some device specific to your computer may require it to load on start up.
