Hello, I have an Acer Travelmate 225XC with Windows 98. Is it possible to register it? So I can use Windows Update for drivers or simillar?

You possibly could register it, but Windows Update for Win98 has been discontinued for years now. You'd do better by checking out the following:

Ditch IE and get a more modern browser (i.e. Opera 10.x).

There is no MS activation required for Win 98 if that's what you mean. I rather doubt MS still have Win98 updates available - have you checked?

As for drivers then they are normally downloaded from the computer manufacturers (if still available) rather than MS.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Wasn't all this covered already in another thread?
