Hi,
I had a few games that will only work on a windows 95 computer, not a XP which I have now. I tried putting the game in 95 compatibility mode but they don't work. Did you know how to fix this? I wsa thinking doing windows 95 emulation, but I have no idea how to do it...
If somebody could drop me a line by e-mail about it, besides replying in the chat, it would be great as I don not check the chat too often.

Well, y'see this forum consists of Windows 95 & 98 users - we don't really have to emulate anything since we're already running Win9x.

Perhaps your question would be better suited to the XP forum

The idea of the forum is that it benefits others, hence we only resort to email when essential.

If you want your problem fixed for free then it is reasonable to do your part by checking back from time to time.

For emulation you could try VMWare. Or you can use Partition Magic to partition your drive and install 95.

VM ware is good unless it runs slow on your computer. Read this it may help you http://computing.net/windowsxp/wwwboard/forum/129083.html

If that doesent work tell me what problem are you experiencing is it old DOS games or windows games that just don't work on windows xp. If they are windows games after all then i am affraid that only possible solution is to find some patches from their developers that fix those problems.
