Reply: (edit)IN SHORT: Go here and all your problems will be solved http://www.amd.com/products/cpg/k623d/win95_update_k6.html IN LONG: Microsoft Windows 95 had a divide error problem with IOS.VXD (Input Output System. Virtual Device Driver). AMD K6-2 350 and up had a timing loop occuring due to higher chip frequencies. The fix is out and simple to repair. Hair loss at a minimum with this one τΏτ Enjoy!

Reply: (edit)AHHHH! the art of advirtising! We ahve tested many AMD k6's and guess what. None of them work properly with win9x or NT. That right NT as well. They will however run linux. In short the chips are faulty. Plain and simple the company is not careful and is only interested in being able to say it's faster than intels. BUT! it doesn't work. Change to intel CPU, Swap the pins on the mother board to match the CPU. You can find them on the motherboard sites. Your problems will disappear.
