windows 95 won't boot

when booting up computer - it gets to the 'loading windows' screen...the whole computer shuts down/off?????

Make sure that your CPU fan is running.

Open the case and see if the fan on the cpu heatsink (or the fan blowing on the cpu heatsink) is spinning. If it's not replace it. Also if the power supply has a 115/230 voltage switch make sure it's in the correct position.
