i recentely bought a second hand comp but i cant seem to change the screensaver password as i dont know the password,i know i could just switch the screensaver off but i would like to be able to put in one of my own,any ideas on how i could do this?? thanks...
I think that if you open the control.ini file in notepad and look for 'Password' you will see lots of s---e in there. If you delete all the scrambled text and save the file. This will allow you to specify a new one.
PS - Where did you buy that second hand PC from, only I've just had one nicked and I had a screensaver password on it too !!!!!
