I recenty attempted to install win 95 on a 1.5g AMD XP to fix a little problem called Micro$oft Window$ XP.(Worst virus out there)I ran into a problem finnding mouther board drivers.I found one for win 98 witch sould have worked since its the sae kernal unfortunatly it was a nogo.Although I was able to run the machine somewhat you might find this is your problem also.Anouther option would be Windows 2K with is still widly supported a proby has drivers for your mobo.Plus is 100 times more stable than anything since win 3.1

there is a known bug that prevents win95 from working correctly with a newer AMD processor...i forget the woraround...as per a petium 4, are you sure it is not a hardware problem?...maybe reformat and reinstall and this time do not select the option for video and sound, and if it laods and runs correctly your video and audio were only meant to run XP

hello
Don't try again, 'cause Win95a/b/c will not work with nowadays fast CPUs.The only patch MSoft has made was for AMD-K6 processors.

You have download the patch that lest windows 95 run on processors that run faster than 350 mhz that is the problem.
So after you install it hace the floppy you donwloaded the patch on run it in safe mode and it should work.
