My friend has a set of windows 95 diskettes. The 22 disk set. About 5 of the floppies are bad and I was supposed to reinstall windows for him. Now he has no operating system, and he needs this computer back by the end of this week, so he can do college work on it. The disks bad are #12-17. If you want proof that this is a legal copy of windows 95 I can put the floppies through my scanner and send you a pic. Thanks

If you lived anywhere near me (UK NW) I would give you a copy of Win95. As MS no longer supports Win95 you are unlikely to get any help form them which would be your first solution.

Win95 on floppies is a rare item, I have only ever seen it once. Probably the best thing is to ask around, see if anyone you know has a copy hanging around on CD or have a look on E-bay.

Good luck

Stuart

If you find a copy of the same version of win95 on cd you should be able to copy the cabs to disk. You would have to format the disks to the proper format(I forget what it is called)
