Window 98 Se bootdisk

I just get computer which has no operting System. So I get the boot disk for window 98 Se from Micron PC website.now i put both boot disk and CDrom in it. and start my computer. this is the message come --------- MSCDEX VERSION 2.25 Copyright (c) Micron CROp....... Drive R:=Driver micron Unit 0 A:/ ------------ so I don't know what to do when I get to A:/ I think I just cannot read from Cd or what It does say that I have CD ROM in it... i have pentium II 333 MZH 64 ram. other question Can I just use Window 98 boot disk and put Window Xp in CD ROM.

OK. The boot disk gives your cdrom the drive letter of R: Also your system WILL NOT support XP. Go to this site and it will give you the info you need to upgrade.

when you come to the a: prompt you type in d if that's the cdrom drive letter then cd/win98 looks like: a:\d: then it is d:\cd\win98 when that comes up you type in setup that should start setup from the cdrom
