WinAmp won't play MIDI-files

Comment:
I downloaded Winamp 2.50. It works with WAV-files as well as with audio-CDs, but won't play MIDI-files. When I try, playing time is displayed and WinAmp starts, but there is no sound. Whot's wrong? Do I maybe have to download another plug-in?

Open up my computer, then view, options, file types. Scroll down until you see MIDI. Remove it. Click on new type and under description put MIDI, under Associated ext. put *.MIDI. Under Actions put the word "open". click on new at the bottom of that box, under action put open, then click browse. Trace it back to WINAmp.exe. Close that and restart. That should work.
