Hi
My system is 40GB/128MB Ram/Cel1.2Ghz with Win98se.
But Windows98SE is not booting in normal mode.
It is directly booting in normal mode. When I press F8 key the normal boot up screen options (Normal mode, safe mode, Command Prompt....)
is not displayed.
Can anybody tell what the problem is?

You may be pressing the key too late. Your 2 gig celeron probably goes through the posting screen in just a few seconds. Start tapping the F8 key as soon as you turn the computer on.

1.2 celeron, sorry, it's getting late. But still the same advice.

If you always want to the boot menu to show, after it boots to windows run msconfig and click on 'advanced'. Then check 'enable startup menu'. Then you don't have to worry about using the F8 key.
