Win98SE network printer problem...

I just installed a laptop with Win98SE and I want to connect it to a few printers on the print server. Although the drivers for Win98 are installed on the printers/print server for the printers that I want to create I get the following error message - Access to the specified device, path, or file is denied -

None of the information on this page or the pages that are linked to it seem to help me. Do you have any ideas for getting around this without eliminating shares on the server?
Check the users file permissions on the server might be a problem with users file permissions. This is a known problem with win95 and win98 machines trying to connect to things like that. User probably has read permissions only try a different setting.
