Comment: hi. i'm trying to install windows 98se. i have partitioned and formatted the hard drive to fat32. the install goes fine until it hits 30%. then i get the error "file copying problem - you interupted setup while it was copying windows files from setup (.cab) file." i tryed other win98se disks and the same problem. i've tryed another cd rom also...same problem...always at 30%. any ideas? thanks.

Reply: (edit)Try copying over the CD-ROM's Win98 folder to the hard drive and then run setup from there Science is built up with facts, as a house is with stones. But a collection of facts is not more a science than a heap of stones is a home

Reply: (edit)Sure - that may get you around the 'copying files' issue, and has the added benefit of having the installation files readily available on the HDD, in case of future need Science is built up with facts, as a house is with stones.
