I get "Internal Windows Error" when I'm looking around on the net which crashes Explorer.exe as they are virtually the same. Also my other programs, my compiler and MS outlook, just die at random intervals. When I startup I get "nwlink.vxd" file missing, but I'm still able to continue on with my boot and everything seems ok except for the problems I outlined above. Thanks for any help.

Howdy, Well this maybe a round about way to fix it should work. Go into the control panel and double click your network icon, remove everything in there. Do make sure you have your 98 CD handy since you will need if you don't have it, do not continue. Anyways, remove everything in there, restart the computer once all this is done and then add everything back, if you watch closely you will see the nwlink.vxd file being reloaded back onto the computer. Also, explorer.exe is not linked directly to IE, its basicly the windows program, if you do a ctrl-alt-del and end task on explorer it will bring up the shutdown menu. If this does not take care of the problem, let us know.

Laters,

Kevin The Tech Dude.
