I am setting up a new domain in a school they have already bought a server with winserver2k3 installed, all of their clients are win98 all clients are 32-64mb, 166Mhz etc. they have no budget to upgrade. all clients are restricted by GPO's like password complexity, min 6 character passwords etc. I install dsclient on each client and the only thing i cant do is add them to ADUC(server2K3) in order to view these through event viewer, comp management etc any suggestions. I think it can be done!!

When creating the computer accounts, did you check to "Assign this computer account as a pre-Windows 2000 computer"??? 98% of the population is asleep. The other 2% are staring around in complete amazement, abject terror, or both.

yes i have set the accounts up twice once with pre2000 ticked, once without. but they still seem to be just logical computers
