silly little thing that annoys me: when i click the start menu button, the "programs" folder contents lists in order of installation, not in alphabetical order (i.o.w., the most recent thing i install is at the bottom of the list, even if the program group is called "Abacus".) any idea how to change this? (when i use explorer to view the contents of the "Programs" folder, it lists the contents alphabetically.) tia, mm

Right click on any item in programs list, select "Sort by Name". It's as simple as that. Al

Note: It will sort Folders first and then Files.

You can drag and drop them to choose your own order.
