win98 se and mprexe.exe error

I am running win98SE and when I go to shutdown or logoff of windows, I get an error "mprexe.exe has caused page fault in mprserv.dll". I've tried many of the fixes found on MS site as well as on the web, but none of them worked. Would appreciate any feedback.

Rename MPREXE.exe to MPREXE.old and reload it from your WIN98 cd, that should work it did for me
