Comment:

I have a laptop wirth a 30 GB drive. windows is suddenly only showing a 4 GB Drive.

I have ran the anti-virus, nothing. I have run scandisk ...no help. I have also run Fdisk /MBR ...didn't work.

Any Suggestions?

When you boot, what size shows in the BIOS? If it's a 30gb and properly identified there, then the partition table is likely damaged. If you boot with a dos bootdisk, what does FDISK show for partition sizes (choice 4)?

If scandskw or scandisk isn't doing it for you, get Drive Rescue. (It's free.) There's a windows version and a dos version. If you can't find it on the web, there's a copy in my webspace;
