I'm Using Norton Internet Security 2003 on both computings one is running Win98 and the other is using WinXp which both computers have been setup for using the Network but my win98 system will only work when I disable norton internet security. My Windows Xp computer is setup correctly using Norton Internet Security 2003 as I had to modify 2or3 settings in Internet Security somewhere in Staus & Settings - Personal Firewall - Configure - Advanced - General Rules but cannot remember what settings I changed. Hi I have fixed my problem if anyone else has problems with Norton Internet Security 2003 after running the network wizard option and find that you cannot access other network computers you must add entries into the following 3 rules Staus & Settings - Personal Firewall - Configure - Advanced - General Rules- 1. Select Default Inbound NetBIOS Name click modify click computers click adapters click only adapters identified below click add And Add your Network IP Addresses eg. Network Address 192.168.0.1 eg Subnet Address 255.255.255.0 2.Default Inbound NetBIOS Do the same as the above Steps 3. Default Outbound NetBIOS Do the same as the above Steps Hope this Helps anyone who might have the same problem. Kind Regards Grant
