My wife is using windows 98 and when she clicks on Outlook Express it brings up an error message cannot read moes.dll file - she is on an old computer and the CD rom does not work - how can we rectify this problem?

Let us know when you've gone through all those 40,700 hits.
But I doubt it'll do much good because I think the file is actually MSOE.DLL and not MOES.DLL.
This person:

fixed a similar problem by downloading:

Edit Here's the first fix that person tried that didn't work:

It's supposed to be isolated to window ME but you might want to check it anyway.

The best thing to do is to download the last available update to OE and install it so as to overwrite any possible msoe.dll file with a good copy and at the same time have it registered via the update's install engines.
DAVE - I know you mean well but, your update is not the latest...
But this one is.
KB837009Lee

Gee, thanks for the condescending pat on the back. Of course I never said it was the most recent--only that that particular poster had fixed his similar problem with that download.
