Hi ive got a bit of a problem with installing windows 98 SE on my laptop which has no cd rom drive only a floppie! I have formated the drive and started to copy the CD ROM contents from my other comptuer to my laptop using floppies but when i stop and shut down my laptop and start it up again a boot it with the windows 98 start up disk it asks for COMMAND.COM and i have tried everything can someone help! and also give me some tips on how to put windows 98 se on my laptop!! cheers thanks very much miles

miles, you have to do this, go to the computer store, get a laplink cable that connects to the printer ports. they are 6.00 then, you must copy the win98 folder to the laptop. on the laptop, boot to c: type in c:\md win98se. [make directory] hit enter. then from the pc, copy the win98 folder from the disk to that directory on the laptop. then n the laptop, open the folder with the win98se . type setup, and windows will load.
