Win98 and Win98SE

How can i know if the cd I got is for win 98 or for win98Se since what i need is the last one.

If it's SE, it should say Second Edition
on the disk.

What happens is that i have a copy of the cd, is there any way to know by the number the files have win98 and win98Se and how.

Install it on a system, click control panel and then system. It will tell you there or insert the cd into a CD Drive, go to a DOS prompt and type ver. That should also tell you. make sure you're in Your CD ROM's directory though.

Use my computer to open the CD. Right click on the setup.exe file and select properties > Version tab.
4.10.1998 is win98
4.10.2222 is win98SE

If most of the files on the cd (in the win98 folder) are dated;

it's 98SE.
